MEET DR CHAUHAN

A Letter From Dr Chauhan

For the last 11 years, I have been searching for answers to just two questions:
How can we reduce the chances of falling ill?
And how can we reduce the chances of dying from illness?
It used to take me almost 15 days to read and properly understand one research paper. Over the last 11 years, I must have read around 800 research papers. And in that journey, I came across all kinds of ways people are trying to increase lifespan and healthspan-Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Epigenetic Clocks, Organ Ageing, Red Light Therapy, dozens of supplements, enough to make anyone’s head spin.
But out of all this, I want to share with you the simplest, most practical, and most effective methods, the real essence of my entire research.
We all want to live longer. But more than that, we want those extra years to be healthy, happy, active, and pain-free. These small changes will not only improve your future, they will also improve your present. They can reduce hospital expenses, prevent disease, and make your everyday life healthier and more joyful.
Now just imagine the last 15 years of your life.
Those 15 years for which you worked, saved, and sacrificed your whole life.
Would you not want to spend those years travelling, walking freely, playing with your grandchildren, or doing the things you love, instead of lying in bed or making repeated hospital visits?
I want to help you turn that imagination into reality.
And I am not saying all this casually.
Every piece of advice I give you will be based on strong evidence, on the highest level of medical research, something called a meta-analysis.
A meta-analysis combines the results of many different studies on the same topic. This makes the final conclusion much more reliable. Instead of depending on just one study, which may have errors or special circumstances, a meta-analysis brings together many studies and balances out the weaknesses of each one.
For example, if 50 studies from around the world show that exercise reduces the risk of heart disease, a meta-analysis combines those 50 results and gives us much stronger proof that exercise truly helps.
That is why we can trust these findings more. They are more likely to apply to most people, in real life.
Whatever advice I give you, I will also show you the meta-analysis behind it, the research that proves that the advice is effective, true, and practical.
I will tell you what research done on lakhs and even millions of people has shown.
I have seen this in my own patients too.
People who made small changes and saw big results.
One of my patients lost his belly completely. Another patient used to feel exhausted by 3 PM every day. Within a few months, his energy levels improved so much that now he does not even feel sleepy before 9:30 PM.
You can do this too.
I will show you how.
If you follow what I teach, your life expectancy can increase by around 14 years. That means you may not only live longer, but live those extra years with better health, better energy, and better quality of life.

CHECK MOTOR SPEED, ATTENTION, PROCESSING SPEED, EXECUTIVE FUNCTION BY
DIGIT SYMBOL SUBSTITUITION TEST

Estimate your brain age with a 2-minute test

Evidence base: age sensitivity and cognitive-aging signal from Hoyer et al. 2004 meta-analysis and Jaeger 2018 review; future decline signal from Rosano et al. 2016; age-band anchors adapted from Van der Elst et al. 2006 norms, CDC NHANES 2019 older-adult DSST distributions, and digital DSST reference distributions summarised by PsyToolkit/Williamson. Estimated neurological age is a rough, public-facing heuristic based on published age-related substitution-test norms and digital DSST distributions. It is not a formal neuropsychological diagnosis. Scores can be affected by poor sleep, anxiety, distraction, hand pain, visual problems, unfamiliarity with the task, low literacy, depression, medicines, alcohol, neurological disease, and device differences. If your score is very low or you also have memory loss, getting lost, language change, repeated mistakes, personality change, or decline in work/daily function, seek formal medical assessment.

This Digit Symbol Substitution Test checks processing speed, attention, and executive efficiency. Tap the symbol that matches the highlighted number as fast and as accurately as you can.

No sign-in. No practice round. The real 120-second test starts immediately.

Fast visual scanning, sustained attention, associative learning, response speed, and executive control. Your result gives an approximate neurological age band, not a diagnosis.
